**You will notice that the triangle begins curving downward while crocheting this bandana. This is intentional and allows for a nice fit. When blocking the bandana, you can pin it, so the top is straight across. This will still give with the desired fit and shaping.

Ties and Border

Chain 70, (with right side facing up) attach chain to top of first st in right corner of finished triangle with a single crochet. Working across top edge, evenly place a total of 97 hdc sts. (48 on one half, 1 in magic circle, 48 on other half) sc in top of last st in left corner, chain 70, finish off. Pull the end of each ch to ensure the knots are tight. Trim both ends, leaving about 1 inch of yarn on each end. -97 hdc + 140 ch

Tighten magic circle from the beginning, weave in ends, and block if desired (highly recommended for this project).
