If you are looking for a quick pattern that you can wear all year, you found it! The Primrose Headwrap ties around your head, so it is easily adjustable and fits most sizes. Lion Brand Coboo yarn gives it a comfortable drape. You can make this headband in a neutral color or a bright color to add a pop of fun to any outfit!

MATERIALS 

●  1 skein of Lion Brand Coboo Yarn: Magenta, light weight #3 yarn (50% Cotton and 50% Rayon from Bamboo, 232 yards /212 meters, 3.5 ounces /100 grams) 

● Hook US G6 / 4.00 mm

● Yarn Needle

● Scissors

● Stitch Markers (optional)

GAUGE 

● 5 sc stitches = 1”, 5 sc rows = 1” 

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

• 3 inches wide (at thickest point) x 38 inches long

STITCH KEY  

• ch – chain 
• sc – single crochet 
• tr – triple crochet

FIRST TIE

Ch 2 

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook- 1 sc 

Row 2: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in st- 2sc 

Row 3: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in each st across- 4 sc

Row 4: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in first st, sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in last st-6 sc

Rows 5-46 (42 rows): Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across- 6 sc

Row 47: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in first st, sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in last st-8sc

Row 48: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in first st, sc in next 6 sts, 2 sc in last st-10 sc

Row 49: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in first st, sc in next 8 sts, 2 sc in last st-12 sc

Row 50: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in first st, sc in next 10 sts, 2 sc in last st-14 sc

MAIN HEADBAND SECTION

Row 51: Ch 4, turn, tr in next st, and in each stitch across- 14 tr

Row 52: Ch 1, turn, sc across-14 sc

Rows 53-98 (46 rows): (Repeat rows 51 and 52) 23 times

SECOND TIE

Row 99: Ch 1, turn, sc dec, sc in next 10 sts, sc dec in last 2- 12 sc

Row 100: Ch 1, turn, sc dec, sc in next 8 sts, sc dec in last 2- 10 sc

Row 101: Ch 1, turn, sc dec, sc in next 6 sts, sc dec in last 2- 8 sc

Row 102: Ch 1, turn, sc dec, sc in next 4 sts, sc dec in last 2- 6 sc

Rows 103-144 (42 rows): Ch 1, turn, sc across- 6 sc

Row 145: Ch 1, turn, sc dec, sc in next 2 sts, sc dec- 4 sc
